On 17 August 1990 the first meals were provided to members of Jagersbosch on weekdays. And today, 35 years later we still provide meals to our members on weekdays!
Die Waenhuis kitchen provide around 1 000 meals per month and around 350 additional frozen meals. There is a winter and summer menu, and the menu runs on a 5-week cycle. All meals are pre-approved by a dietician and are nutritious and cooked daily with much love.
Meal tickets are bought at the Jagersbosch offices and meals must be ordered a day in advance. Meal collections take place between 11:00 and 13:00 from Mondays to Fridays. Frozen meals can be bought and collected at Die Waenhuis and need not be pre-ordered.
Die Waenhuis kitchen can also do catering for functions held at Die Waenhuis and make bespoke party platters for external functions on order.
